The Pluvinel Platform is delivered by the Norwegian company Pluvinel AS. References to “we”, “us” and “our” in the following are references to Pluvinel AS.

1. About the Pluvinel Platform
Pluvinel is an independent global digital service. Pluvinel connects people to form offline experiences and relations directly with one another. Users can create profiles, lists, discover and book lessons, training, clinics and seminars around the world related to equestrian activities. Pluvinel enables people all over the world to create an online profile to discover, share, organise and register for events.
2. Data we collect about you
User account information
Upon creating a user profile you will be requested to provide the following data:

The information may be stored for a longer time if required to defend a legal claim, for example, if we suspect that you have provided us with false information in violation of our terms and conditions. The information is only used to administrate your user account in order to offer you access to the Pluvinel Platform.
If you register as a certified instructor, you will be asked to name the institution that issued your credentials. In order to validate your credentials, we may forward your information to the institution you have listed in your user account.
If you purchase services on the Pluvinel Platform, you will be requested to provide your credit card information in addition to your user account information.
We will store information about your payment history and related personal data (name and contact information) for five years in accordance with the Norwegian Bookkeeping Act § 13.
The content you share
We store any information that you choose to share with other users of the Pluvinel platform. This information is deleted from your user account if you deactivate your account. However, the information may still be available for other users on the platform if you have shared it with them.
We collect information about how the Pluvinel Platform is used. This includes information about how many users that are active on the platform at any given time, how the users interact and their location. We only collect this information based on your prior consent.
The information is collected based on information capsules (cookies). The cookies that we use store information for 2 years. You may withdraw your consent at any time by disabling cookies (see the bottom of our website) or by deleting the cookies in your browser (see the settings in your browser). Communicating with you We may contact you to verify your account or to provide other critical information to you, for example in the case of security breaches.
We may also send promotional offers to you and general information to you about our services. You may opt-out from our information newsletter at any time. Please see the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of each of the newsletter that you have received.
4. Sharing information
We share personal data about you with our data processors. Our data processors will only process your data in accordance with our instructions. Our current data processor is Stripe Inc., which deliver the payment services for the Pluvinel Platform.
Apart from the companies named above, we do not disclose or share your personal data to third parties except where it is necessary for fulfilling our legal obligations. We may, for example, disclose your personal data to the police or other public authorities if we are required to by law.
5. Your rights
You have the right to request information from us whenever you have any questions regarding how we process your personal data. In addition, you have the right to access, correct or delete your data at any time. You may access, correct and delete your data at any time in the settings of your own user account.
You may also lodge a complaint to your local data protection authority if you have any concerns about how we process personal data.
6. Cookies and similar technologies

FACEBOOK PIXELS The Facebook pixel is an analytics tool that allows us to measure the effectiveness of our advertising by understanding the actions that you take when using the Pluvinel Platform.
We use pixels to:
Make sure that our ads on Facebook are shown to the right people. Find new customers or people who have visited a specific page or taken a desired action on your website. Measure the results of our ads on Facebook. Better understand the impact of our ads by measuring what happened as a direct result. YOUTUBE AND VIMEO COOKIES YouTube and Vimeo videos may be embedded into some of our pages. YouTube and Vimeo will not store personally identifiable cookie information for playbacks of embedded videos using the privacy-enhanced mode but will store cookie information for videos which do not have privacy-enhanced mode set.
PLUVINEL A cookie named pluvinel.sid keep users logged in to their account between visits to the Pluvinel Platform. It may contain user identifiable information such as a user’s name or email address, and whether the user is logged in or not.
7. Data security
We have implemented data security safeguards based upon generally accepted industry standards to protect personal data from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or loss.
Security at Stripe Stripe is the payment processing services for registered users on Pluvinel. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. To accomplish this, Stripe make use of best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security at Stripe.
All card numbers are encrypted on disk with AES-256. Decryption keys are stored on separate machines. None of Stripe’s internal servers and daemons is able to obtain plaintext card numbers; instead, they can just request that cards be sent to a service provider on a static whitelist.
